I really like listening to other writers talking about their work, so I enjoyed this a lot. I also like hearing from other people who are writing while working full-time, raising a family, keeping a house ... It's a lot, but it's what brings us joy. Hearing that other people are balancing it too is inspiring. You are definitely working on a lot of projects! All my life, I've read novels, and I'm only now getting into short stories (reading and writing them), so I'm not comfortable saying any favourites - yet. But you make an excellent point about reading a wide range of genres, and trying cross-genre writing. Good luck with your Kickstarter! I hope you make it!
